Why?

W-H-Y

Why did this happen?

Why did he do this to me and our family?

Why did she leave me for someone else?

Why did he fall off the wagon and start drinking again?

Why is she turning the kids against me?

WHY!!!!!!!

We demand these answers not only from our romantic partners but mostly from God.

“Why” is an interesting word.

It can be used as a question or as a statement.

You can scream it at someone or you can whisper it softly to yourself........

W-h-y is only 3 letters.

However, there are no amount of words in the English language that ever follow after that question that are ever going to make you feel any better about your situation.

I am sorry.

We only ask the question “why“ when immense sadness enters into our lives. I didn’t ask that question when my son was born or when my daughters took their first breath, which were some of the happiest moments of my life.

We do not learn our greatest lessons from happiness. You did not become a hero because you had children or you got a raise at work.

If you face a dragon and walk through that fire… Not only does everyone notice but it gives them strength in the future. ❤️
