I’ve often pondered why everyone’s Faith seems to vanish when it comes to heartbreak, arguments with others regarding religious beliefs and especially politics.
Most of you are familiar with the Christian theory that God has a Perfect Plan for us all. Everything is Perfect by His design.
I actually saw more proof of this during my divorce than at any other time in my entire life. My divorce was unexpectedly very spiritual. Cardinals still follow me to this day. I’m not talking about the Catholics or the baseball team. I’m referring to the red bird that is now the logo for this website.
Jeremiah 29:11
“for I know the plans I have for you,“ declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.“
If God has a Perfect Plan then God ultimately knows how the fight on abortion will end. He has a plan for global climate even. He has a plan for the next president of these United States--ALWAYS. It’s baffling how people lose their mind about politics… Yet claim God is in control. (?)
Think about the things in life that people get the most upset about and here’s one now… You are here reading this now—dealing with the break up of a romantic relationship or a divorce.
Don’t let your Faith leave you when you need it most. Isn’t this what we were taught all those years growing up? (Example: the foot prints in the sand??) Now is the time to remember.
Don’t get me wrong I know why you don’t want to talk about God, right now.
You prayed and you prayed and you prayed for God to heal your relationship and instead what you got was a message...

There is a “Perfect“ Plan.
If you need to be reminded, look around you just at the balance of the world. Look how everything falls into place perfectly. We needed ugly to know what pretty was. We needed short to know how to measure tall. Look how the sun goes down and the moon follows it each day over and over perfectly. Summer turns to Fall and then Winter follows next. Then it is time for Spring and it will happen again and again and again.
When everything is peaceful we believe that the Universe and everything that happens is perfect by Gods design.
Why do we believe this but when it comes to heartbreak or chaos and hate in the world, our faith is forgotten?
